Shatner!

Today I had a Shatner sighting. I was in VIP health foods on Beverly boulevard in LA, and I spied none other than William Shatner one aisle over. He was looking over PowerBars and the alternatives, and selected an entire box of something close to standard PowerBars. I contempleted approaching him and telling him that I liked his work (and continued self-parody) but decided against it. I'm sure that he likes attention in general, but as I walked past him he looked even more intently into the refrigerated case in front of him, which I interpreted as a signal that he didn't want to be disturbed. He looked pretty chipper for a guy who is 70 years old, though.
