The wonders of Medical Imaging

A friend of mine related a story of a recent MRI on an issue in his abdomen.

He said that when he was done with the scan and had gotten up, the technician told him: "The bathroom is right over there." He said, "That's ok, I don't need to use it." The technician repeated the gesture to the bathroom. He once again denied any need.
The technician then tapped the CRT screen on the conrol panel of the machine, still displaying an image of his insides.
"See this? It's your bladder, and it's full."
He went ahead and made use of the facilities.
